Potato has a wide area in agriculture and food sector.
Potato harvest in our country generally starts from August and continues until the end of the year. The product, which is used in various sectors throughout the year after harvest, needs storage. In order not to deteriorate the freshness and physical structure of the product during the long storage period, it should be stored in the Cold Room.

The potato stored in the chill store releases carbon dioxide in its environment and therefore needs a cooling external ventilating system.
Storage conditions should be established according to the product variety of the potato. Seed potatoes should be stored between +2°C and +4°C, and potatoes stored for consumption should be stored between +4°C and +10°C.
