Waste is one of the biggest problems in the growing and developing world. These wastes must be annihilated. There are waste processes and disposure processes in the health sector in our country and in the world. These processes should be carried out with dedication and daintiness.

In the health sector, examination, analysis, treatment, surgery, laboratory wastes, experimental animals, etc. wastes are collected in a sterile manner in different colors and codes. The collected wastes are subjected to cold chain in the cold rooms created in the specified collection area.

The serum bottle or bag and drugs with needles and/or syringes are collected in the blue bag. Chemical wastes, cutting tools, bloody and/or medicated bandages and cottons, surgical wastes, test containers, experimental animal carrions are collected in red bags. In the black bag, household waste is collected. All collected wastes are collected by competent body and sent for disposal.
