Semi-Hermetic Refrigeration Units Features
Industrial refrigeration units are produced with capacities ranging from 9 kW to 174 kW.
The units are manufactured with 2, 3, or 4 fans and 2 or 3 evaporators. This design accelerates cold air circulation inside the storage area.
The noise level of the fans used is below the acceptable European standards (CE).
The outdoor unit is specially manufactured to withstand open-air conditions.
These units have a wide product range that can operate under external air conditions of +35°C / +45°C and +35°C / +50°C.

Semi-Hermetic Refrigeration Units

Semi-hermetic refrigeration units are specialized cooling devices commonly used in commercial and industrial applications. These units typically include large-capacity compressors used in refrigeration systems. Semi-hermetic refrigeration units are notable for their compressors, which are usually high capacity and designed to withstand environmental conditions. The question of “How does a semi-hermetic compressor work?” is important in this context.

What is a Semi-Hermetic Compressor Refrigeration Unit?
A semi-hermetic compressor refrigeration unit is a cooling device mainly used in industrial refrigeration systems. These units are designed to compress and circulate the refrigerant used for cooling. They also contain a semi-hermetic compressor.

Technical Specifications of Semi-Hermetic Refrigeration Units

  • Electronic Controller: Located on the front panel

  • Easily controllable

  • Illuminated On/Off button

  • Digital display electronic system-management module

  • Cooling and defrost (defrosting) control

  • Electrical protection feature with voltage relay protecting against 10% phase loss

Electrical Panel

  • Power supply: 400V – 10% / +6% – 3 phase – 50 Hz + Ground – Neutral line

How Does a Semi-Hermetic Compressor Work?

The first stage of a semi-hermetic compressor is the suction phase. The refrigerant is drawn into the compressor through the suction valve. The gas is compressed inside the compressor. During this compression process, the pressure of the refrigerant is increased by the compressor’s pistons or screws. The compressed gas is discharged to the external system or cooling circuit through a high-pressure discharge valve. While in the external system, the refrigerant condenses due to ambient heat. The condensed liquid refrigerant passes through an expansion valve into a low-pressure area.
